Day 8 - ya gotta do this one!

This is one of the greatest things anyone can do. It not only benefits them, it benefits you.

TRY THIS:

8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.

Wow, what a novel idea! If I were 70 or more I'd LOVE to have someone, anyone, YOU spend time with me. Besides being a great listener I love learning new things and meeting new people and hearing how blessed other people are (plus letting them know how blessed they really are, especially if they don't have Jesus as their best friend!).

Speaking of which, how many of those nearing the end of their lives know Jesus? Leading someone to Jesus is such an awesome feeling/blessing. My son accepted Jesus just a week or so before he was murdered. What a comfort that was for me. Just think of how many more friends you will have in Heaven just by leading them to the Lord.

And don't think the little ones won't make a difference either! I spend my home time with one or more of my grandkids all the time. They LOVE to go to church and after church we talk about their lesson and learn more and more! I like to think that my grandkids will have Jesus with them for the rest of their lives by passing on to them what I'm learning now - to observe Jesus in EVERYTHING I say or do. Isn't it nice to have your Best Friend Forever there with you ALL THE TIME?

Sometimes I just let my BFF take over, especially when I'm typing. He has a better way with words than I do AND that gives me a chance to hear what he has to say, too. I know some of you think I'm crazy, but since I was little I always felt like someone was always watching me. In my teen years I thought it was just paranoia. In my younger years I probably thought it was a "monster" or something. Still, I always felt like it, kinda like mom always said she had eyes in the back of her head. heehee. Until later years when things started happening and I realized who was really watching after me. YUP, my BFF.

And that leads into many stories which I will be writing on one of my other blogsites: MOTHERMOSES.

Okay, so please, please, please, go visit and make someone's day. And then plan another day to do it again. You'll be blessed like you've never been blessed before!

GOD LOVES YOU!!
