21. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
Now that's comforting to know that we don't have to win EVERY argument. But usually us ladies wonder when we will win ANY argument. Or is it the other way around... Doesn't matter, really, it doesn't!
My son has given in now to ending it with, "Ok, it's my fault. It's all my fault." And I've heard that enough times now, too, that I say, "Ok, it is." And we end it there. Till we both can talk about it rationally.
No one really needs to win or lose. Yet we often learn so much that it is a GOOD thing to argue, or rather, to discuss.
So, let's say, "You don't have to win every discussion. Agree to discuss." That sounds so much better, eh?
