We get a little away from spirituality this day and being the topic is green, thus the font color:
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
LOL
Love the play on words: plants as in green growing things vs. ugly concrete buildings with underpaid employees sweating onto the food they are processing. Yucko.
This falls in line with my health program, eating less/no salt and reading labels. Did you know that just about anything that is processed contains large amounts of sodium aka salt? Salt is used to cure meats and preserve canned veggies and such. Well, you know what I mean. Even Campbell's is canning their soups with less salt these days, or so their promotional ads say.
Okay, read the labels: on fresh fruit and veggies there's no label because it isn't processed with preservatives and such. But then there are the clarifications of "grown with no pesticides" and "hypophonically grown" and "whatever."
But if you really want to get serious with this, and not just reading labels, do the goal of this day and go a period of eating food that grows on trees and plants. Do a little research and you can find a lot of edible flowers, too, that you might just find very, very tasty! And, believe it or not, you will definitely notice the difference in your digestion process. You may even think about not going back, haha. I still want the ocassional medium rare lean, lean, lean steak...with baked sweet potato, of course!
Okay, follow God's guidelines and eat healthy to maintain the body which he created specifically for YOU.
haveagreatday! I love you.
